Things to do in Scillato

Scillato is small and you can see it in half a day, but it has a clear theme: water. Follow the water and mills trail along the Agnello and Gulfone channels to the Paraturi mill, home of the Water Museum, and stop at the Asiniddaru mill, where part of the machinery can still be seen. The springs can only be visited at certain times of year. If you walk, the Sentiero dei Borghi starts in the village, about ten kilometres to Collesano, opened in January 2026. In the village is the sanctuary of the Madonna della Catena. And in twenty minutes by car you reach Caltavuturo or Polizzi Generosa.
