Magazine

The magazine tells the Madonie one question at a time: when to see the beech woods in autumn, how manna is harvested, what to do at Piano Battaglia in winter, how to move safely in the mountains. Every article leads to the site's pages, with sources and dates.

What is in the magazine?

Articles that answer precise, seasonal questions. They are divided into the same categories as the guide: nature, food, culture, things to do, itineraries and practical information. Use the filters above to see a single category.

A few places to start:

Every article leads to the site’s stable pages: the villages, trails and events, and section guides such as nature and food. The article answers the seasonal question; the page stays up to date all year.

For mountain forecasts there is the weather page, for snow and lifts the snow section.

Frequently asked questions

How often is a new article published?
The editorial plan includes new articles at regular intervals, chosen by season: snow and roads in winter, flowers in spring, festivals and sagre in summer, mushrooms and autumn colours in autumn. The latest one is always at the top of the list.
Who writes the articles and how are they checked?
The Le Madonie editorial team writes them. Every fact (dates, hours, altitudes, distances, prices) comes from a source you can check, such as the town council, the park authority or an event organiser, and the article links to it. If a fact cannot be confirmed, we do not write it.
Can I suggest a topic or report a mistake?
Send us your report with a link to the official source: we check it and, if it is right, we correct the article and the related page. Reports on events, places to stay and trails that have changed are the most useful.
