To write to the lemadonie.it editorial team, email info@lemadonie.it. It is the only way to reach us: there is no phone number and no form on the site. We read messages and reply as soon as we can, with no guaranteed response time.

What can you write to us about?
- A mistake on a page: a date, an opening time, an address, a name. The instructions are on Report an event or an error.
- An event to add to the calendar, with a link to the official source or the poster.
- A hotel, B&B or restaurant that is missing or has closed. These listings come from OpenStreetMap: if you can, correct it there too.
- Photos of the Madonie you would like to share under a free licence. The easiest way is to upload them to Wikimedia Commons and send us the link: we only use photos with a stated author and licence.
- Partnerships and questions from local councils, Pro Loco associations and groups.
- Questions about your personal data: they are covered in Privacy and cookies.
What can’t we help with?
- Bookings. We are not a travel agency and we don’t run any accommodation: contact details for hotels, B&Bs and restaurants are on their pages in where to stay and where to eat.
- Park permits and rules. These are handled by the Madonie Park Authority.
- Live trail conditions. We don’t have people on the ground every day. For the weather see mountain weather, for roads the roads page.
- Emergencies. In the mountains, if you are in danger, call 112.
What should you put in the email?
A clear subject helps: “Correction”, “Event”, “Photos”, “Partnership”. In the message, include the address of the page you are writing about and, for each fact, a link to the source. A correction with a source we can check is the quickest to apply.
How long will it take to get a reply?
We have no customer service with guaranteed response times, and we don’t want to promise what we can’t deliver. If your message is about an event in the next few days, put the date in the subject line.
What do we do with your email address?
We use it only to reply to you and, if you report something, to check it. We don’t add you to any mailing list and we don’t pass it on to anyone. The details are in Privacy and cookies.
