Upcoming events in the Madonie
Events on the calendar in the Madonie, from the soonest to the furthest away: food festivals, patron saint festivals, music festivals, races and events in the park. An event appears here only when its date is confirmed by an official source, and it disappears on its own once it is over. Use the Month filter to see what is on this weekend.

How do you read this calendar?
Each listing has the date of the current edition, the village, the category and a link to the source. Events in progress carry the In progress label; cancelled or postponed ones say so clearly.
For a specific period use the Month and Town filters. For a type of event there are dedicated pages: food festivals, religious festivals, music and festivals, culture, sport and, in December, Christmas in the Madonie.
What do you check before you leave?
The programme on the organiser’s website, because times and places can change at the last minute. Then the weather and, in winter, the roads on the roads page.
To sleep or eat in the festival village, open its page from the event page: you find where to stay and where to eat in the same municipality.
Frequently asked questions
- What can I do in the Madonie this weekend?
- Look at the first events on the list: they are in date order, starting from today, and each one has place, times when we know them and a link to the source. If nothing appeals, the village and trail pages give you ideas that work all year round.
- How often is the calendar updated?
- We check the sources every week: town council websites, Pro Loco, organisers, the park authority and local newspapers. The list is recalculated every day, so past events drop out on their own and events in progress stay until they end.
- Why is an event I know not listed?
- Perhaps this year's dates are not out yet: in that case the event is in the main calendar with the previous edition and the usual period. If it is missing altogether, send us the link to the official source and we will check it.
