Two routes recommended by the Madonie Park authority start from Gratteri. The first climbs from the San Nicola plateau to the Grotta Grattara, in the pine wood at the foot of Pizzo Dipilo. The second, easy and about 1.7 km long, goes from the upper village to the ruins of the Abbazia di San Giorgio and can continue between Pizzo Dipilo and Rocca del Monaco to the former abbey of Santa Maria del Pedale and Collesano. Another route links Gratteri to Isnello via Pizzo Dipilo.
